I know it is an instant pudding mix, but it seemed rather thin and runny even for an instant pudding.I tried their gelatin and was pleased with it so when I saw they made pudding, I bought immediately and it did not disappoint. Both my kid and I are really enjoying them. They aren’t too sweet, just sweet enough. I will definitely buy these again. I read a review expecting nutrition from pudding. That’s a stretch because pudding is fun food and isn’t supposed to be the main source of nutrition. I am happy with the quality, that it’s kosher, the ingredient are simple. As for the two ingredient mentioned in another review: dipotassium phosphate (EWG says it is safe. It isn’t bioaccumulative and the Canadians see it as a low health risk. One study in 2012 isn’t sufficient for hysteria. It takes more than one study in order to raise the alarm in the science world because peer review and duplication of results are important to the integrity of the scientific process. Maybe the studies results can’t be reproduced and it was an anomaly. This is basic science. ) and terasodium pyrophosphate is a thickening agent used commonly ; neither of these ingredients are a big deal. As for chemical vs natural, let’s remember poisons are natural, viruses are natural and many other natural substances are harmful to human health. Everything should be studied on a case by case basis. The ingredients in this pudding are better than all the pudding mixes i can find at a grocery store so thank you Simple Mixes for making an alternative.It did well added to a trifle. We used it with some gingerbread spices to make a Thanksgiving dessert.I used it for a monkey bread type breakfast and it did not turn out at all! I then used it for just regular pudding and be warned it only works with cow milk! I followed the directions for almond milk and put it in the fridge to set (3 hours) according to instructions and by the next morning it still wasn’t set!We used to enjoy this pudding. It used to arrive sealed in a clear plastic bag, inside the individual package, inside the larger box. I just opened a six-pack that I bought four months ago. The expiration date is more than a year away, but this might not be accurate. The new boxes have a paper-type bag that don't always seal. The first pair of boxes made a normal pudding pie, but the second one that I made (minutes later) never set. Since one of the puddings appeared and smelled a bit different, that's the only reason that the second pie could be different. (All the other ingredients were from the same container as the first pie.) Another single box was not sealed, and neither is the paper container of powder inside.I attempted to contact the company to find out if the unset pie is safe, and how to treat the unsealed boxes of pudding. Unfortunately, there is no phone number to call, and my email has not received a response. Right now, I am giving customer service zero stars. I won't buy this product if is it has spoilage issues and they won't resolve them. I will look for another product or make alternative desserts.UPDATE: As of 7/28/22, still no response from the company. Still not buying or recommending this product.These are good pudding mixes, even though they do have sugar. I think in the future, I will make my own with Truvia or xylitol. For now though, I add 2 scoops of unflavored, unsweetened whey isolate powder and give more time for the pudding to set. I'm planning to try freezing this in molds, but this far I've wound up just eating the pudding. It's very good.
