Mold needs to be deeper, especially for the small cubes.Would prevent spillage. This product is great. I bought this as a gift for my younger brother because he loves Star Was even more than I do. He was thrilled about this. This has multiple uses and some work better than others. For ice this is just okay. It's hard to really see some of the detail and only being having 6 small sized molds makes this sub-ideal as an ice tray. But it still is pretty darn cool. This mold is somewhat more suited toward food use. My brother and I found a recipe for gummy candy and used this mold for it. The candies turned out great. The candy picks up the details much better than the ice and since the candy doesn't take as long to set it's much more practical. We used this and the R2-D2 mold so one would set while we filled the other. It works great for chocolate as well.Being made of food grade silicone this tray can be used for a lot. Many of its uses it does very well but if you're buying it solely to use as an ice tray you may find yourself slightly disappointed with the level of detail in your ice. But overall it is a great product.I saw this fantastic link through various web surfing, only to find that the places in the article quoted were sold out. On a lark, I checked Amazon, and booyah, here it is.I ordered it despite the feedback saying it was flimsy...I mean, it's a novelty ice cube tray. If I have to carry it via plate to the freezer...that's fine. It's worth it.I can only guess how the "flimsy" feedback-giver was carrying the tray...perhaps on his (or her) head? Maybe slung over the back of their Tauntaun? In any case, moving this tray with, say, both hands, works quite well. The smaller ice cubes are a little smaller than I thought they would be. I couldn't visualize how big they'd be, and in the actual product, they're as long as my thumb and a little thinner. The big mold is *almost* large enough to hold a regular sized figurine to give you an idea of length and width. All in all...I hope to be cooling my adult beverage with a few frozen Han ice cubes tomorrow! These are fun and make cute little frozen Han Solo in Carbonite ice cubes, but aren't incredibly detailed. Still good for the money.Skip this one. One cup- sized ice cube and a bunch of tiny slivers. There’s no definition to the solo figure that will stand out at all. Unless you have ultra pure water that freezes perfectly clear you can forget being able to tell what the heck you froze.I used this mold to make chocolate and they turned out pretty incredible. I haven't used it to make ice yet but I imagine it will do an equally good job. Good level of detail in the mold and seems pretty well made overall.I gave this as a gift and they absolutely loved it. It's so unique and random - something great for a Star Wars fan. The ice cubes came out good, the only complaint is that there was too much air in the water I used so the ice cubes were white and opaque instead of clear. That made the design details hard to see. Also since the ice cubes are thin and have so much surface area, they melt pretty quickly.Overall it was a good price for a fun gift. It functions OK for an ice cube tray, but it's not really meant to be a great ice cube maker - it's meant as a novelty toy. When I started to write this review, Amazon asked me if I was over 13 years old. WTF? I think that is because this item lives in the "toy" area. Point of fact: the ONLY people I know who are even REMOTELY excited about having Han Solo-in-carbonite ice cubes are over the age of 40.Honestly, this is not a toy in any meaningful sense of the word. It is a deliriously dork-tastic accessory to round out one's collection of Yoda PEZ dispensers, Chewbacca bedroom slippers, and that Tauntaun sleeping bag you know you have on your loveseat. What is there not to love about these? It's Han in friggin' carbonite! If I could afford the full-size replica with the blinking lights, it would already be in my living room. This is the next best thing....I challenge you to make this your everyday cube of choice. As an ice cube tray this product sucks. The ice cubes have no definition and melt in under a minute. However, the mould does work well for resin and if you play Star Wars Legion you can make yourself some very nice wall trophies!Lovely cool idea but a massive disappointment. Expect an ice cube tray one third of the size of a normal one. One of the sections produces a cube that vaguely looks like solo in carbonite, the rest are tiny and melt within no time. Utter rubbish.Pretty poor quality.Mould is far less defined than pictured.Smaller ice cubes in particular are completely unrecognisable as Han Solo.I gave it 2 stars as it still functions as a low quantity (but expensive) ice cube mould. The molds are too shallow. You can't even tell what the design in after they freeze. Just a rectangular block of ice in your drink. They're a cool idea but you don't really notice the effect at all once you put the ice cube in the drink. The intricate details melt instantly so you're left with a rectangular ice cube with a lump in the middle.
